Design Director and Founder, Tarik Currimbhoy set out to keep the craft of hand-carving alive and create a new vocabulary in stone.

Currimbhoy &. Co.
Sana Stone is an affiliate of Currimbhoy & Co., a New York City based Architectural and Design firm with an office in Mumbai, India. Founded by Tarik Currimbhoy in 1983; our projects range from a paper cutter for a Japanese client to a shopping mall In Texas, to a building in New York City. Our clients range from multinational corporations like McKinsey and Co. to fashion designers like Betsey Johnson to international private clients.

Sana Stone
In 1998 we established a New York based company, Sana Stone, with workshops in Rajastan, India. For our installations with Sana Stone, we have been extensively published and won numerous awards, including the Prism International Award and the Industrial Design Magazine's Annual Design Competition.

New York Stone
In 2016, Sana Stone joined hands with New York Stone. Sana Stone products are now sold exclusively by New York Stone in the U.S. Our product line can be viewed at New York Stone showrooms in Manhattan - 30 West 21st Street New York, NY 10010 as well as in New Jersey - 31 Howell Street Jersey City, NJ 07306.
